STOP IGNORING YOUR HEART IN FEAR OF OTHERS OPINIONS.

People are either:
1) Judging you regardless of what you do–in which case you should DEFINITELY go after what you want
-or-
2) They are too focused on their own stuff to even notice what you’re doing.

Friend. It is on your heart for a reason.
It doesn’t have to make sense to anyone but you. Sometimes it won’t even make sense to YOU. But the fact that you can’t stop thinking about it is a SIGN from the universe to move toward it. It doesn’t get any more obvious than our own body telling us to do something… and yet for some reason we wait for a “sign”.

Enough is enough. Stop fighting it and move the direction your heart is pulling you.

You might know it as analysis paralysis. When we think about the thing and never make the move- we are robbing ourselves of the learning that comes with movement.

Friends, make the MOVE. Information, insight, understanding- all comes with movement. Whether it’s right or wrong- you won’t know until you move. And even if you make a wrong step- you are perfectly capable of making ANOTHER move- to get where you need to be. If you are confused about which way to step- just STEP. You’ll have a different view, with brand new information when you do.

THIS. IS. KEY. And so freakin true! Being uncomfortable is one of the best things you can search for. The chick has to hit up against all the walls of it’s shell before it breaks apart. A butterfly in a cocoon has to outgrow the place it's in before the time comes to spread it’s wings and fly. A seed has to completely break apart and become something unrecognizable before it can put down its roots, bust through the ground and bloom.

Don’t avoid the discomfort. Thank God for the opportunity that’s coming and lean in.

The idea that “anything worth doing is worth doing poorly” changed my life.

Seriously. Brushing your teeth for 30 seconds is better than not brushing at all. Exercising twice a week is better than nothing at all. Working on your dream for an hour a day- is better than nothing at all. Start wherever you are, with whatever you have and just move forward. A small step in the right direction is better than no step at all.

Fear will never be absent. Read that again. You will NEVER be fearless.

But you can be brave and afraid at the same time.

On a long enough timeline- you will GET there. Don’t worry about the trip ups or the slow days, or the heavy days. They will happen. Just don’t be the person that stops trying because of them.

Unsurprisingly, Gary Vee is right. Again. (Seriously- get in this guys space. He is the tough love you NEED in your life)

Reading and researching is great… but at a certain point you have to execute.

SOMETHING is on your heart or in your head that you can’t ignore.

Whether that’s going back to school, starting a business, rebuilding a relationship, running a marathon, earning a promotion, surviving a teething baby- or making moves in any area of life- don’t stop just because it’s hard! The struggle doesn’t mean it’s wrong, it just means there is something valuable on the other side.

So if you’re 5 years in or standing on the edge waiting to jump– my message to you is the same;

Don’t stop short of something that you know is for you.

Hustle. Grind. Work. Dream. Pursuit. Faith. Whatever you call it- can feel like an unfair fight at times. But the only thing worse is to step out of the ring and always wonder… what if.
