I hopped right into the personal training world when I graduated with my kinesiology degree. I loved seeing people walk into the gym unsure, nervous, and even a little insecure… only to see them strut out after seeing what they were actually capable of doing.
I wanted to influence the other 23 hours in the day. I wanted to teach them about habits, nutrition, + thought work and watch their entire life transform. I didn’t want my impact to stop at the scale… I wanted confidence, resilience, and joy oozing into every corner of their life. And I didn’t want them to give up the best parts of their life to get the body they dreamed of.
In the gym, dreaming up a new side hustle, making to do lists on random scraps of paper, in a black hole learning about something random on the internet.
Negative vibes, cold weather, playing it safe, skipping dessert, small talk, a jam packed calendar
God (a little more every time I see something beautiful), summer at the lake, the tenacity of the human spirit, straight talk, weekly grocery shopping, fresh air, therapy, twinkly lights
I’d get a breakfast sandwich, iced coffee, some magazines that make me happy, and go sit at the park in the sunshine. Talk about D R E A M Y.
a lifting workout, giant breakfast, thinking about stretching and then not, chasing boys (the toddler version), country music, spending time with my super fine husband!
